There are few places that feel as naturally magical as Yosemite in the winter.
In 2025, King of Christmas collaborated with Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite to enhance that experience, bringing the warmth and spirit of the holiday season into a setting already defined by snow-covered pines and mountain views.
This marked a meaningful milestone for us: our first hospitality partnership, where holiday design extended beyond the home and into a fully immersive destination experience.
✨ A Natural Winter Wonderland
Set within the Sierra National Forest, Tenaya at Yosemite has long been known for its seasonal charm. During the holidays, the property transforms into a true winter retreat, layered with tradition, atmosphere, and a sense of quiet wonder.
Our role was to build on that foundation.
From the main lodge to select Explorer Cabins, trees and décor were thoughtfully placed to complement the surrounding landscape. Warm white lighting, flocked textures, and classic seasonal elements blended seamlessly with the natural environment, adding depth and glow without taking away from the setting itself.
🎄 Designing the Experience
Throughout the property, each space was approached with intention.
In the lodge lobby, statement trees created a warm and welcoming focal point, setting the tone for the season the moment guests arrived. Within the Explorer Cabins, a more intimate approach brought the holiday experience into private spaces, where guests could gather, unwind, and celebrate in a setting that felt both elevated and personal.
The goal was simple: to create a seamless experience where the holidays could be felt everywhere, without ever feeling overdone.
