The holiday season has always been built on tradition, but at the Lights of Gratitude: Christmas Tree Extravaganza, it becomes something even more meaningful.
In 2024, in partnership with Support U.S. Armed Forces (SUSAF), this annual event brought together local businesses, community groups, and families to create something special: beautifully decorated artificial Christmas trees, each one destined for a deserving military family in North Carolina.
We were honored to contribute to this effort by donating the trees that made it all possible.
✨ Where Creativity Meets Giving
At the heart of the event is a unique and joyful concept.
Each tree is “adopted” by a sponsor, ranging from local organizations and schools to families and volunteers, who transform it into a fully decorated centerpiece. The trees are then displayed for the community to experience, with visitors invited to view and vote for their favorites.
What began as a decorating contest became something more: a shared celebration of creativity, generosity, and connection.

Once the event concluded, every decorated tree began its most important journey.
Each one was delivered to a military family in the North Carolina community, bringing not just holiday décor, but a fully realized moment of warmth, care, and tradition.
